CBI conducted SNG PEFA assessments in Gardabani, Kareli, Terjola, Khobi, and Kaspi Municipalities, reviewing their core Public Financial Management systems against internationally accepted indicators. The team analyzed municipal budgeting, accounting, reporting, internal control, and procurement practices, collected and validated financial data, and prepared indicator scores in line with PEFA methodology. In addition, CBI assessed gender aspects of municipal PFM using the PEFA Gender-Responsive PFM (GRPFM) methodology and reflected the findings in the consolidated recommendations.
