CBI conducted SNG PEFA assessments in Telavi, Akhaltsikhe, Kvareli, Borjomi, Dedoplistskaro, Sagarejo, and Lanchkhuti Municipalities, evaluating their core PFM systems against internationally accepted indicators. The team reviewed municipal budgeting, accounting, reporting, internal controls, and procurement practices, collected and validated financial data, and prepared indicator scores in accordance with the PEFA methodology. In addition, CBI assessed gender aspects of municipal PFM using the PEFA Gender-Responsive PFM (GRPFM) framework and integrated the findings into the final recommendations
