CBI assisted Rustavi, Bolnisi, Dmanisi, and Marneuli Municipalities in preparing their 2022 budget execution reports in accordance with the national program budgeting methodology. The team reviewed mayoral decrees and budget documents, met with municipal departments to collect data and analyze program performance, and provided coaching to staff in drafting execution reports. CBI also supported Sakrebulo Finance and Budget Commissions in reviewing the reports and preparing key questions for the hearings, and helped municipalities organize public hearings involving program beneficiaries, including representatives of vulnerable groups.
