Assess Public Finance Management in 7 Municipalities of Georgia using PEFA Indicators
Description:
CBI conducted SNG PEFA assessments in Bagdati, Kharagauli, Chkhorotsku, Tetritskaro, Ambrolauri, Keda, and Akhmeta Municipalities, evaluating PFM systems for the 2018–2020 period based on evidence gathered from municipal documentation and financial records. The team reviewed budgeting, accounting, reporting, and internal control practices, applied PEFA PI indicators and GRPFM indicators, and ensured full adherence to the methodological guidelines for Subnational PEFA assessments. Findings were consolidated into structured evaluations reflecting municipal PFM performance and gender responsiveness.
