External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 1 654.0 million in January-February 2021, 12.0 percent lower year-on-year.
The value of export decreased by 6.8 percent reaching USD 494.7 million, while the import decreased by 14.1 percent and amounted to USD 1 159.3 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 664.6 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 40.2 percent.
